Meier Eden Akakpo is a dancer and choreographer. He is the artistic director of the New Star Dance Company in Togo and a member of the dance group Team Recycled. He has worked as a choreographer at Studio de Théâtre d'Art de Lomé, Togo on several theatre productions and has collaborated with renowned choreographers from different fields. He won the prize for best choreography at Afrik’Art Festival in 2017. Meier Eden lives and works in Berlin.
