Chor der Kulturen der Welt - "Up in the woods"

Der Chor der Kulturen der Welt, der seit 2007 am Haus der Kulturen der Welt Berlin unter der Leitung von Barbara Morgenstern und Philipp Neumann existiert, beschäftigt sich in seinem neuen Programm "Up in the Woods" mit dem Wald als Ort für Ängste, Hoffnungen und Sehnsüchte. Was empfinden wir im Wald, was löst er in uns aus? Dieser Frage sind wir musikalisch mit Werken von Z. Kodaly, J. Sibelius, V. Tormis, B. Britten, Bon Iver, Barbara Morgenstern u.a. auf den Grund gegangen.

Marco Brosolo: "volo sbranato"

The new work of the Friulian musician Marco Brosolo is centered on the work of the poéte maudit Federico Tavan, a borderline subject who suffers of mental illness that has ultimately conditioned his life and work. Brosolo and Tavan are two unique individuals united by music, poetry and folly.
