What do Branford Marsalis, Herbie Hancock, Dionne Warwick and Diana Krall have in common? The answer: they have all worked with Dori Caymmi. The guitarist began his career in the Rio of Bossa Nova with Edu Lobo and Marcos Valle. He has often appeared on stage with his father, the now 84-year-old Dorival Caymmi, who enjoys almost patron-saint status in Brazil. His compositions are inspired by lives of the people of Bahia, the sea and fishing. An excellent WASSERMUSIK repertoire for Dori Caymmi.
