Yuliesky González Guerra is a trumpeter, composer, and music producer. As a student, he developed an interest in improvisation, both in Cuban music and jazz. He began writing arrangements and compositions for large and small ensembles, especially brass quintets. After settling in Havana, he joined several renowned orchestras on the popular music scene, performing on radio and television programs as well as at major festivals. Since moving to Europe, Guerra has collaborated with numerous bands and artistic projects in Germany and beyond, while also pursuing his own work as a solo artist, including the album Cubanero (2020). Guerra is based in Berlin.
