Yara Mekawei and Amir Rezk are a musical duo working where sound becomes visible and image becomes audible. Their process is research conducted as a ritual, where myth, mathematics, and technology are held together without hierarchy, allowing inherited knowledge systems to inform contemporary tools rather than be illustrated by them. Central is a question of translation: what happens when a pulse becomes a form, when breath becomes color, when rhythm becomes architecture. Together they occupy a space that neither practice could sustain alone. What they offer is not an artifact but a passage, an invitation to enter sound as one might enter a space, and to leave changed by the crossing.
