Sha Xin Wei

Sha Xin Wei's research-creation concerns ontogenesis and poiesis. Trained in mathematics at Harvard University and Stanford University, his work ranges across gestural media, movement arts, real-time media installation, experiential design, critical studies, and philosophy of technology. His artworks include the TGarden playspaces and Hubbub speech-installations. Dr Sha is Professor at the GAME School and the School of Complex Adaptive Systems at Arizona State University and directs the Synthesis Atelier for transversal art, philosophy, and technology there. He founded the Topological Media Lab and published Poiesis and Enchantment in Topological Matter.
