Anyès Noël is an actress, director and writer who, through transmissions, raising awareness and self-discovery, pushes the boundaries of her art to explore Caribbean realities, from the intimate to the political. It was with the aim of building bridges that she moved to Port-au-Prince for seven years, where she practiced her first love, the theater. In 2020, she co-directed Fouye Zetwal, an experimental short film written as a long poem in which she gives a woman’s voice to her homeland to break the silent memories. Whether on stage or on the page, words are a space where she reveals herself whilst learning to become who she is. Noel is based in Guadalope.
