Guest lectures by international stars - now open to the public
Editors Jim Clark (James Bond 007 - The World Is Not Enough), Angie Lam (Hero), Sabine Krayenbühl (Mad Hot Ballroom) and Dirk Grau (German Film Award 2005 for "Rhythm Is It") will discuss interfaces, dissolves and cuts. Using numerous extracts from their own work, these distinguished film editors will introduce the connection between editing film and sound and explain how editors shape the story of a film. This event will touch upon philosophic and aesthetic aspects of picture and sound editing as well as the restrictions imposed upon creative principles by today’s industry.
