Didier Awadi

The concert with Didier Awadi, one of the central figures of the Senegalese HipHop scene and at the same time a leading activist of the protest movement, rounds off the program.

Born in Dakar in 1969, this globe-trotting rapper and producer has made a major contribution to the reputation of the Senegalese Hip-Hop style "Galsen". He is considered one of the pioneers of the Hip-Hop scene in Senegal and West Africa. Didier Awadi presents his latest album "Ma Révolution" in Berlin.
