Berlin’s Hip Hop scene has long been polyglot. Influenced by the city’s history of immigration, MCs rap here in a variety of languages—in Turkish, Kurdish, Lingala, French, English, Spanish… along with the MCs from the workshops, the international Berlin scene also introduces itself here, with short talks and live performances.

Flaco Flow & Melanina The Columbian Hip Hop band was founded in 2002 and the debut album “Polizones” was released in 2004. At the moment Flaco Flow and Melanina works on their first DVD.

Joe “Maddog“ Bliese is a founding member of the project Legal Leben (Living Legally). He has been active on the Berlin Rap scene since 1999, with the Kreuzberg-based group ZDZ (Zeugen Der Zeit – Witnesses of the Times). In 2005 he completed his studies in cultural sciences and, since then, has been actively engaged in the fields of Rap workshops, booking and event organization.

Paco Mendoza is a musical globalist with a rebel heart. His music is multilingual, multicultural, merging Latin soul, Hip Hop and Reggae. The Argentinian singer, songwriter, DJ and producer now lives and works in Germany.
