Francesca Mila Nemni initiates a fruitful dialogue between immigrants and more established residents of Berlin to explore the often invisible connections between cultures. In the course of this summer, the ingredients for a communal feast will be grown in urban allotments. In interviews, conversations, and cooking the project unearths myths, memories and aspects of health associated with food and nutritional practices. A limited edition publication documents the project and collects stories and recipes contributed by the participants.

Curator: Francesca Mila Nemni (born in Boston, USA, lives and works in Milan, Italy)
Artists: Giulia Giannola (born in Napoli, lives and works in Berlin), Gayle Chong Kwan (lives and works in London)
