Opening “Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin/Madrid”

The festival of experimental film and contemporary art features discoveries and food for thought for film lovers and art enthusiasts. 150 contributions from France, Germany, Spain and some 40 other countries offer a unique insight into the latest in audiovisual arts.

24 screenings showcase many works that are being shown for the first time in Berlin, mostly presented by the artists themselves. Highlights of the program include the German premières of “O nosso homen” by Pedro Costa, a carte blanche for Antoni Muntadas, “Nuit bleue” by Ange Leccia, and the latest works by the avant-garde filmmakers Ken Jacobs, Knut Asdam, Hans Op de Beeck and Liu Wei.
