The documentary essay “Weightless” by Silvia Casalino shows rocket launchers in the jungle, flying frogs in space, tropical plants in glitzy Moscow, an iguana that plays Donna Haraway’s Cyborg and a range of archive footage from space agencies around the world. It’s a film between “science“ and “fiction“, a remix of queer-feminist thought, about three generations of women who shared the same fascination with space research and technology!
