In her volume of novellas »Zmizet« (tr: Disappear), the young, up-and-coming author writes about families who »live somehow. It's not always bad, but it's seldom good«. She directs a gaze that is both analytical and associational at conflicts which initially seem meaningless, but which later reverberate threateningly around the characters. In doing so, the author shows astounding empathy that, thanks to her cool style, never slides into sentimentality.
