The UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (2005) brings human rights and cultural politics together. The target is to facilitate the free development of cultures as well as interaction between different groups. The participating countries are committed to taking political measures to protect and encourage cultural diversity. Authors from different countries will be talking about the opportunities that the convention has given them locally and globally.
