Day 1 | Day 2 | Rue Princesse Day 3

7 pm Dance
Logobi 225: Logobi 01 and Logobi 04
Two different worlds clash here: African and European concepts of dance are often further apart than the continents themselves. The Logobi series, which can be seen here in its entirety for the very first time, brings together dancers from Germany and the Ivory Coast.
With Gotta Depri, Hauke Heumann, Massidi Adiatou, Jochen Roller, Franck Edmond Yao alias Gadoukou la Star

8:30 pm Dance theater
Les Enfants danseurs / Child Dancers (premiere)
This dance performance shows the situation and forms of expression of child dancers from the Ivory Coast on the Rue Princesse in Abidjan.
With Anelka Chanel und Prince Kreol.

10 pm Performance
Cheating
Coupé Décalé is far more than just music: it’s a way of life. Adopting a role is a way of enhancing one’s status, of presenting selfish interests in an offensive way. It is not the illusion but the reality that counts. "Betrügen" offers an insight into the world of the Coupé Décalé jet set, and analyzes the system of self-assertion and the way people improve their own precarious situations.
Play and performance with DJ Meko, Hauke Heumann, and Franck Edmond Yao alias Gadoukou la Star.

10 pm Screening/Video
With Gob Squad: "Le Coup de Foudre - Liebe auf den ersten Blick or The Struggle To Get To Know You" (Abidjan 2010, 60 min)
Armed with video cameras, dictionaries, and blind trust, Gob Squad marched through the streets of Abidjan to film an adaptation of their video performance "Super Night Shot" (Volksbühne im Prater, 2003). The "War Against Anonymity” turned into a new mission: "the battle to get to know each other." Overcoming taxi strikes, power failures, 40° heat, and many other things that get lost in translation, this was a very real battle. The video documentary shows the results and the process of a challenging and thrilling encounter.

11 pm Dance
Dialogue directe
The principle behind “Dialogue directe” is the spontaneously improvised way in which the performers respond to one another. In line with the principle: “Dance what I sing, sing what I dance,” the singers throw down the challenge to one another. The result is open, amusing, spontaneous, and inspiring.
With Marc Aschenbrenner, Anelka Chanel, Gotta Depri, DJ Meko, Hauke Heumann, Prince Kreol, SKelly, Gabriel v. Loebell-Herberstein, Franck Edmond Yao alias Gadoukou la Star and others.

And in our daily program:
