The "boldest voice in the young Ukrainian literary scene" (NZZ), Serhij Zhadan, and the ska band "sobaky v kosmosi" (Dogs in Space) combine ska and reggae derived from Jamaican political immigrants with psychedelic choral elements from Ukrainian folk music in their new project "Sportyvnyj klub armiji" (Army Sports Club). Sound crazy? That it is!
