Awarded the "Grand prix de l'Afrique noire", Waberi is famed for his innovative and diverse works. His novel "In the United States of Africa" takes as its premise that Africa has achieved global dominance - a biting satire. With "Harvest of Skulls", he offers a poignant look at the Rwandan genocide.

Wilfried N'Sondé debuted with the novel "Le Coeur Des Enfants Leopards", a story in staccato rhythm about migration. He was awarded the "Prix des cinq continents de la Francophonie".
