With Elvis Presley as island tourist guide and six pretty women, complications are inevitable. Presley even has to spend time in prison ... But the film shot at Coco Palms Resorts by Kauai beach is really about living a life of ease, taking each day as it comes, about sunshine and oversized cars and, of course, music. The film, the most successful that Elvis ever made, also contains the groaners ‘Can`t Help Falling in love’ and ‘Rock-a-Hula Baby’. The soundtrack stayed in the USA Album Charts for seventy-nine weeks, and for twenty of these it was number one.
