Trees bring people together

To celelbrate the Day of the Tree, which is being held in 2008 under the motto ‘Trees bring people together’, the Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald, together with people with a migration background, will be planting trees in Berlin. In 2008, the project will be held under the patronage of the Minister of State and German Federal Government Commissioner for Migration, Refugees and Integration, Prof. Dr. Maria Böhmer. On 23 April, she will plant a tree on the grounds of the House of World Cultures.
