Anthea Caddy & Judith Hamann: Long Throw HKW
At this time, the GGG rule (tested-vaccinated-recovered) applies for this event. More about Covid-19 admission regulations
In their performance Long Throw HKW, Anthea Caddy and Judith Hamann use an installation designed by Caddy consisting of two parabolic loudspeakers that can emit sound over a distance of up to three kilometers. The environment of the HKW, in whose outdoor area the loudspeakers are mounted, refracts and reflects the sound, changing its properties and thus becoming a significant part of the composition. In their 20-minute live performance, Caddy and Hamann play cello sounds to each other, testing the possibilities of this particular setting.
