In their workshop, Danny Hayward and Marina Vishmidt will explore the meaning of anti-liberalism in aesthetics as an incipient anti-fascism. How can those two commitments be unified or integrated at the level of new artistic work? Together with the participants they will think about the anti- or para-institutional art that is represented in the exhibition under this heading or rubric. They will also address some ideas and developments in contemporary poetic writing from this perspective, in order to discuss how solidarity can appear in a field delimited by institutional desires.
