Meredi
Ina Meredi Arakelian finds sounds where there were once only images. The trained pianist and harpist has composed soundtracks for numerous films, drawing both from a wide range of influences and from a great deal of know-how. Whether pieces for piano, string ensembles and full orchestras, or electronic means, the composer is as versatile as she is experimental. At 21 Sunsets she will play her piano compositions accompanied by the string players Benjamin Pant, Philine Blachny and Tobias Hoffmann.

Jeff Özdemir speaks pretty much every musical language and can best express himself in dialogue. His recently released compilation album Jeff Özdemir & Friends Vol. 3 impressively proved this yet again, and the performance by Jeff Özdemir’s Heart Repair will also highlight this. Together with Romy Pope (flute), Denis Sushchenko (drums) and Anne von Keller (keyboard), he presents cinematic, jazzy interpretations from the catalog of the Jeff Özdemir & Friends series on guitar and bass.
