Schools have always been contested spaces, sites for negotiating the political present and shaping the future. How have stories of resistance unfolded around schools and in classrooms worldwide, both in the past and today? And in which ways have school students mobilized as agents for change, rising up as political subjects which demand to be taken seriously?
