Skin without body. Body without voice. Voice without breath. Breath without skin. Will people one day disappear into the landscape the way that all sounds inevitably fade into space? Composer Juliana Hodkinson, artist Marsha Ginsberg and director Katharina Schmitt invite you to walk with clowns in their outdoor immersive sonic horror show, Hauch.

The performance plays on various clown archetypes - from the humorous to the threatening – as projection surfaces for social fears. Hauch tackles contemporary social phobias, deserted urban environments and masked identities, confronting the voices of the Neue Vocalsolisten with the bodies of dynamic performers remotely from the Hudson River Valley and live in the urban forest of the Tiergarten and rooftop terrace of HKW. Do you dare to take the walk?
