Racism, exclusion, disadvantage: Discrimination is a topic that needs to be talked about. Strong voices for equal treatment in everyday life and work are urgently needed. From diversity in the world of work to dealing with the new “diverse” gender definition and discrimination in the cultural industry to the UN sustainability goals with regard to women’s rights, equal treatment of minorities and people with disabilities: Representatives from politics and research, actors from business and administration, industry, culture, media, education and civil society come together to identify common goals and to pool forces against discrimination. Questions of the future of anti-discrimination work play a central role in discussions, workshops and artistic contributions. How can artificial intelligence be used in working life while at the same time avoiding discrimination? How can diversity, equal opportunities and inclusion be implemented in working life? What new approaches are there in discrimination research and what will happen going forward with European anti-discrimination law in the run-up to the German EU Council Presidency?
