at St. Johannes-Evangelist-Kirche, Auguststrasse 90, Berlin-Mitte

This exhibition, with works by Helen Cho, Hanayo, Yoon Lee, Yudi Noor, Yukihiro Taguchi – all young Asian artists who live in Berlin – proves that identity grows within context. For two weeks the neo-Romanesque church architecture will become the scene of constant reconfiguration. The installations, which the artists transform daily, are accompanied by performances and workshops. In her workshop Berlin Flowers, Yuka Oyama, drawing on a Japanese tradition, invites visitors to produce decorative artificial flowers from objects they bring with them.

Curated by Shaheen Merali, Tereza de Arruda, Carson Chan
