Musical film trip about a young London rapper.

Rage, a young rapper from South London, packs all his fury and energy into the rhymes that he wants to put out on a record along with his pals Godwin and Thomas. But the trio is short on money, which Rage then tries to get through a burglary. When the plan goes awry, Rage, whose parents come from different ethnic backgrounds, is confronted with everyday racist police violence in Great Britain. Newton Aduaka’s visually forceful, musical film trip from 2000 illuminates topics like identity, masculinity and alienation.
