Painting the unthinkable

It’s pretty hard to paint things the way they really look. But many artists also go the other way: Their artworks look more like a dream and deliberately play around with the impossible and nonfigurative. In this workshop, participants will explore the range of painting from representational to abstract. One focal point is to conduct own artistic experiments based on the Surrealist works in the exhibition. It is allowed to paint outside the lines!

Ulla Hahn studied painting at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf where she was a master student of David Rabinowitch. The visual artist and art mediator lives and works in Berlin.
