Two zoos, two radio towers, two congress halls: during the division of Berlin many things were built twice in east and west. But a lot of things are also doubled in nature. In this workshop, participants at the HKW building, the former West Berlin Congress Hall, investigate why there are two of so many things, but what makes them unique nevertheless. Using painting and collage they will experiment with techniques of reproduction/copying/doubling and the fine discrepancies.
Ulla Hahn studied painting at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, where she was in the master class of David Rabinowitch. The fine artist and art educator lives and works in Berlin.
