The Chor der Kulturen der Welt and musicians from Iran and Afghanistan living in the refugee shelter NUK Winsstraße 50 will perform a benefit concert at Immanuelkirche. The program includes newly rehearsed Iranian and Afghan songs and pieces from the choir’s repertoire, from Finno-Ugric folk tunes and Japanese children’s songs to compositions by Benjamin Britten, Bon Iver, Sam Lee and Van Dyke Parks.
