American Epic: Part I

The three-part documentary follows the traces of music producers who traveled across the United States in the 1920s, preserving the raw forms of Country, Blues, Cajun, Gospel, and Folk in mobile studios. The series presents film and photo material alongside interviews with witnesses from the era. Followed by an acoustic set from The Americans.
