Minimalistic road movie in the arid Northeast of Brazil. 1942: a young German travels from village to village selling a revolutionary cure – aspirin. One day he meets grumpy Ranulfo. The beginning of a wonderful friendship? The plot is based on the true life story of director Gomes' uncle.
