Salon of Aesthetic Experiments | Vertigo

The performance artist Lucie Strecker and the composer Genoël von Lilienstern exhibit their own works and discuss their understanding of the term coined by Roger Caillois, Ilinx. Like vertigo or dizziness, it involves a temporary disruption of perception, such as drunkenness or drug highs, lies and deception, maelstrom, fear or enjoyment of fear. The artists explore figures of instability and stability in the processes of artistic production and reception for their ability to realize new findings.
