Berlinale Talent Campus # 4

At the Cutting Edge of Making Movies

Workshops, Lectures, and Networking

Once again, young filmmakers and international experts in the field convene at the Berlinale Talent Campus # 4 to explore all stages of filmmaking: "philosophy", from "pre-" to "post-production", "promotion".

500 up-and-coming talents from all over the world have the opportunity to learn from professionals and colleagues during workshops and conversations. Editing is one of the programme’s specials, while the KinoKitchen offers a short film competition on “Hunger, Food and Taste”. Haus der Kulturen der Welt opens its doors for six days of networking between top film experts and those on their way.

Guest lectures by international stars – now open to the public

Charlotte Rampling, Wim Wenders, Park Chan-wook, Christopher Doyle, Anthony Dod Mantle, Stephen Warbeck and well-known editors like Jim Clark and Angie Lam are amongst the renowned guest speakers at this year’s Berlinale Talent Campus.

For the first time the majority of Berlinale Talent Campus events in the House of World Cultures will be open to the general public. Together with about 520 young film makers from 101 different countries, anybody interested in film will have the opportunity to learn from the film industry’s experts and to exchange ideas with both experts and aspiring professionals.
