S.O.S. – Schools of Sustainability. Can Schools Save the Climate? brings two Berlin schools together with artists and experts. How can the school system be changed for sustainable learning and climate neutrality? In project weeks/days or during lessons, students and teachers in the school year 2021/22 will use artistic methods to devise climate-future-conscious alternatives to existing routine school practices, subject logics or technical learning environments. Experts from education, ecology, politics and social sciences accompany the process. The desired result is for the topic of sustainability as well as ecological (and, in conjunction with this, digital) education to permeate the school’s DNA across disciplines.
