How does knowledge arise and who decides what knowledge remains invisible? Is it perhaps hidden in the city? How will people talk in the future and with whom – could robots, plants or animals one day be their friends? What new teaching methods are needed in order to open up imaginations for new futures in a self-determined and participatory manner guided by interests?
In the exceptional school year of 2020/2021, eleven projects will examine these and other questions. Accompanied by artists and experts, teachers and students from grades 5 to 12 will test the school of the future in experimental artistic set-ups. They will present their projects in participatory formats at the final festival Dear Future at HKW.
