Thomas-Mann-Gymnasium with Maryna Markova and Thomas Wienands
What spatial changes do students want in their school? Together with Maryna Markova and Thomas Wienands, the 11th grade students at Thomas-Mann-Gymnasium used art to explore the system “school” and discover its space. Utopian interior designs, interviews and time travel through the school archives inspired artistic interventions. The students occupied the classroom, rearranged it, created art zones, rooms with different rules – an IMPLANTAT@school which is documented in a brief video as part of the audio walk through the Märkisches Viertel.
