Thu, Nov 21–Sun, Nov 24 | Comic exhibition

Felix Reidenbach: Die Niedlichen

Imagine an app that uses artificial intelligence and micro-variations to automatically produce intellectual property as an inexhaustible source of money. Felix Reidenbach’s comic strip die niedlichen appeared in music and art magazines in the 1990s and has been published online and in exhibitions since 2009. For HKW, the comic artist, illustrator and graphic designer thought up a new episode that will be shown at Right the Right as an installation. It can be found in print in the book 100 Years of Copyright in the 100 Years of Now Library.

Thu, Nov 21–Sun, Nov 24 | Video installation

Antonio Roberts: Unauthorised Copy

Against the backdrop of the Internet culture and increasing copyright disputes, the Birmingham based artist Antonio Roberts deals with plagiarism, authenticity and the aesthetics of digital copying errors. What role does copyright protection play in an age of 3D scanners?
