Simone Hain is an architectural historian, curator and university professor with a focus on conflict management and modernist learning processes. In addition to teaching assignments at Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee and Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, she heads the Institute of Theory and History at Graz University of Technology. Hain is the founder of the Scientific Collections on GDR construction history at the Leibniz Institute for Research on Society and Space and co-curated the ifa traveling exhibition Zwei deutsche Architekturen. She has done freelance project work in Berlin since becoming emeritus professor.
