The warning that accompanies the thesis of the Anthropocene predicts an end of the human, but do we not need the category of the human to conceive of the Anthropocene, to narrate it and let it resound? After decades of controversy about post-human philosophy, post-human individuals, and artificial intelligence, the Anthropocene once again places the human being at the center of attention…. Or does it? Where the human being begins and where it stops, whether animals are creative and how computers can replace autonomous composer personalities—in the Anthropocene project the relationship between human and nature and technology will be negotiated, and how a world beyond such separations can be thought in social, political, and philosophical terms.
