"A country where there’s no such thing as organized religion. It doesn’t matter if GOD is dead or just doesn’t care: Once upon a time, you might see a number of people, worshipping a GOD of their own creation.” "Hooman Sharifi fled from Iran at the age of fourteen and went into exile to Norway. He will begin a long-term work here that is based on the idea of a state without religious institutions. A laboratory will open on an island in the Mirror Pond in front of the Haus: viewers are invited to paddle over and help develop this concept of state. The Impure Company will translate the utopia - or atopia – of such a country into a performance at the Haus.
