Singapore’s most off-beat artist collective transforms you into a pop-star.

Take the chance to sing a pop-song while being filmed in a fantasy world. Within 24 hours you’ll receive your own personal music video. This satirical and quite unconventional edition of “American Idol” or “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” exposes our longing to be, at least once in our lives, a star. The acronym says it all: “P.O.P. – The Politics of the Popular”.

Visitors to the Politics of Fun exhibition can view videos of performances at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt, as well as other similar acts in London and Singapore.

Within the framework of the Asia-Pacific Weeks, which are supported by the Stiftung Deutsche Klassenlotterie Berlin (DKLB).
