Tina Post

Tina Post is Assistant Professor of English and Theater and Performance Studies at the University of Chicago. She specializes in the study of racial performativity, especially the ways that black Americans perform racial identity. She is the author of Deadpan: The Aesthetics of Black Inexpression (2023). Her scholarly work has appeared in ASAP, Modern Drama and The Drama Review among others. Her creative work can be found in Imagined Theaters, Stone Canoe and The Appendix.
