Christine Hill

Christine Hill is Professor of Art and Social Terrain at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Since the early 1990s, she has been working on the Volksboutique project, which for the first time became more widely known as part of documenta X in 1997. In this project, she examines the phenomena of service, artistic labor, value, and social exchange. Her works have been shown internationally, including the 52nd Venice Biennale, Kunstraum Innsbruck, Martin-Gropius-Bau, Berlin, and the Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst in Leipzig.
