Maya V. El Zanaty
Maya V. El Zanaty is an independent researcher and curator at the intersection of art, history, politics and education. She co-founded the Dakar-based collective Les Petites Pierres and has worked on numerous performative interventions together with Espace Médina and many other institutions. She was part of the curatorial team of Simon Njami in 2018 and directed the public program Urbi for the 13th Biennale of Contemporary African Art. In 2020 she founded Bibliothèque Terme Sud, a community based living library bringing together books with multiple forms of knowing and learning.
