Adi Keissar

Adi Keissar is a poet, journalist and founder of the Ars Poetica project. Her first book Shahor ‘al Gabbei Shahor (Black on Black) was published in 2014 and was awarded the Bernstein Literature Award. In 2015 she won the Ministry of Culture and Sport’s award for emerging poets. Many of her poems have appeared in anthologies, magazines and newspapers. Last fall, Keissar was described by Haaretz as “the most influential and outstanding Israeli poet” of the present day. She lives in Tel Aviv.
