presented by Jürgen Renn and Manfred Laubichler
Can the technosphere, geology, and the human perspective be thought together, beyond the usual forms of narrative? Is photosynthesis a bad idea? What about all the biological symbioses? What about the human being as an innovative techno-species? What other “brains” exist beside our own? On evolutionary dynamics, from the function of regulation of niches and other, new frames of thought for evolution. A presentation of the Campus seminar Technosphere/Co-Evolution, led by Manfred Laubichler und Jürgen Renn.
Jürgen Renn is director of the Max-Planck-Instituts für Wissenschaftsgeschichte. Manfred D. Laubichler is professor of theoretical biology and director of the Center for Social Dynamics and Complexity at Arizona State University.
