Luciana Parisi

Luciana Parisi ist Dozentin für Kulturtheorie, Vorsitzende des PhD-Programms am Institut für Medien, Kommunikation- und Kulturwissenschaften und Co-Direktorin der Digital Culture Unit, Goldsmiths, University of London. Sie interessiert sich für Kybernetik, Informationstheorie und Computation, Komplexität und evolutionäre Theorien sowie für das technokapitalistische Investment in künstliche Intelligenz, Bio- und Nanotechnologie. Ihr Buch Abstract Sex: Philosophy, Biotechnology and the Mutations of Desire erschien 2004. 2013 folgte Contagious Architecture: Computation, Aesthetics and Space. Zurzeit erforscht sie die Geschichte der Automation und die philosophischen Konsequenzen logischen Denkens in Maschinen.
