Education at Haus der Kulturen der Welt

The conception of the House of World Cultures is also reflected in its educational programme, which creates spaces for encounters between artists and young people and gives them a chance to work together on creative projects. Local artists are involved in our workshop programmes, which we run in close contact with Berlin schools and youth cultural establishments.

Internet projects, radio programmes, newspaper workshops and a specially designed programme of guided tours make the House of World Cultures and its work transparent and attractive to youths.

During the past few years, music, film and dance workshops have won over many young people to the House of World Cultures, its concept and its programme.
